SIDC SOLAR BULLETIN 11 Feb 2005, 1316UT
SIDC FORECAST (valid from 1230UT, 11 Feb 2005 until 13 Feb 2005)
SOLAR FLARES : Eruptive (C-class flares expected, probability >= 50%)
GEOMAGNETISM : Quiet (A<20 and K<4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 11 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 117 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 12 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 120 / AP: 007
PREDICTIONS FOR 13 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 120 / AP: 007

COMMENT: Geomagnetic conditions turned to quiet levels. The solar wind
speed started decaying to a current speed of about 600 km/s. We expect
quiet conditions for the next days. Solar activity is now concentrated
around the three active regions situated at the east just below the
equator. The most activity is expected from Catania 24 (NOAA 0733) and
Catania 26 (NOAA 0735). This morning a CME is seen in the southeast
of the C2 field of view at 02:54, post eruptive arcades below active
region NOAA 0735 indicates this CME is frontsided. However, due to its
position at the limb we do not expect geomagnetic disturbances from this.
