OK, here is a question.

Two weekends ago in the Sept. VHF contest we worked a few out west grids on
6M. It was difficult due to the fact that we were only copying 1-2
words/letters/numbers at a time. QSOs took quite and effort.

It was almost like meteor scatter propagation.

Did anyone else experience this and what was it if not meteor scatter?

Not a prop guru and most of my experience (99%) been on HF.

Thanks for the education in advance.

Participation on this Propagation Reflector has been pretty slow since it's
inception. Basically it's been a one man show so far, me! As I said at the
beginning I don't want to dominate things.

Early on there was allot of enthusiasm for this reflector and I would like
to see that now. So just a reminder, any topic relating to LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF
radiowave propagation is acceptable, whether it be questions, observations
or theory. This reflector is open to all and I will only censor unacceptable
behavior.

BTW I will begin my HF/MF radiowave propagation outlooks as soon as this
crazy 2004 hurricane season wanes. I have been running around with my head
cut off like a chicken since August due to all of the hurricane strikes here
in Florida. Today we are facing tropical cyclone #5 in the form of CAT 2
Jeanne.

Just a reminder, I have several propagation related websites.

If anyone comes across a radiowave propagation related website by all means
post it here.
