Only one question... what took you so long?
Smaller monitors are plentiful. (You wouldn't believe the number I used to
have stored after we upgraded the airport to slightly bigger ones... don't ask,
they all went on a pallet and got sold at auction quite a while ago). Medium
and larger monitors (up through, say 24 inch) are also plentiful and relatively
inexpensive.
Highly recommended. Two 20" or larger monitors can make a huge difference.
And not just in the ham shack.

Now that monitors are relatively inexpensive, whats the current thoughts
on one larger monitors vs two or more smaller ones?
Also, any thoughts on shelf height to set the monitors one? I am redoing
my current setup , which has 2 small monitors on the desk, the radios on
the left and a taller shelf for accessories, switches, amp etc above the
monitors. I'm thinking of putting a small shelf up above the radios,
etc, to set the monitors on instead, and wondering about the height.
