The Section Manager is not the right person to have talked
with about that. You should have interacted with your
Division Director - that's where matters of policy such as
QST editorial content are decided. If your section manager
was unable to help you reach your Division Director, then
your Section Manager did you a disservice.

Again, matters of League policy are decided at the Director
level, not the section manager level.
People (even those elected to represent you) can disagree
with you. That doesn't mean the system has failed or
you should never express an opinion. If you want to
be a cynic, I can't stop you, of course..
