BY1QH update. Thanks for the suggestions, we will be transmitting on
1827.5 most likely QSX 2 up. The band is plaqued by birdies that come
and go and we have a narrow receiving freq that is clear. Do not worry
about the pileups as yet as we hear no pileup hear over 3 or 4 calling.
Signals are just at or above the noise with a few a little stronger. So
far
no real "big guns" so to speak. The big guns are the ones we hear.
We have lost a amplifier tube last nite, and will be Monday before we
can purchase another. Should be back on first of next week at full
power.
There will be no operation tomorrow (Saturday) due to
commitments of the station "chief". We will be QRV around 1200Z
on Sunday the 18th.
Today no USA heard at all, just a few JA stations, and
UN7,UA0. Not QRV on 80 as yet, will work on the antenna in the day
light first of the week.
Please no e-mail to this address, coordinate any info to
pass to us through either N4CC at n4cc@ezl.com or perhaps Bill will
pass it to us. (W4ZV).
We are planning on several all night operations from
sunset here to past sunrise here to work EU and the rest of the world.
Will announce those days in advance. There is some difficulty getting
back and forth to the station at times, but should work out fine.
73 CU in the pile ups. K9FD & W0RI
