Nope!

We are installing 30+ brand new HP Z420 PCs and they have PS2 keyboard and mouse ports.

I only use Logitech wireless mice. They have always worked perfectly for me. I too have one tower right next to the shack with a tribander and a 2 element 40 on it. No issues whatsoever with Logitech wireless mouse.

PS/2 ports disappeared altogether quite some years ago

Not so ... there are dozens of newly introduced motherboards from
many of the top of the line board houses with PS/2 ports for keyboard
and/or mouse.

Perhaps the system builders (like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, Sony,
etc.) are using boards that do not support PS/2 but they certainly
have not disappeared.
