Joe: All wireless are not created equal. I use a Logitech "performance
laser" series. One AA battery lasts months. No latency or other issues.
Works at 2.4 GHz, No RF interference. I did use a Microsoft wireless mouse
a few years ago -- its been trashed so I don't have a model. Battery would
last a week, and the frequency was 27 MHz. Useless when I was on 15 or 10
meters. For contesting, I use a Monoprice 8 button gaming mouse.
Programmable buttons make it great for RTTY contesting. One can also adjust
the speed of the pointer. Its a wired mouse, but so far no RF issues.
