SOLAR FLARES : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 077 / AP: 012
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 074 / AP: 022
PREDICTIONS FOR 27 Feb 2005 10CM FLUX: 070 / AP: 021
COMMENT: The solar activity is now at very low level (X-ray background
at A2 level) and is expected to remain very low. Only minor B flares are
expected. The solar wind speed increases slowly and is now at 500km/s,
while Bz fluctuates between +10 and -10nT. This marks the progressive
influence of a high-speed coronal hole stream that will probably last
for the next 2 days. The geomagnetic field is quiet to unsettled and
will become unsettled to active in the next 24h. If the wind speed
increases further, the geomagnetic activity may reach minor storm level.
