# DAILY BULLETIN ON SOLAR AND GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY from the SIDC (RWC-Belgium) #
#------------------------------------------------------------------------------#
SIDC URSIGRAM 41128
SIDC SOLAR BULLETIN 28 Nov 2004, 1254UT
SIDC FORECAST (valid from 1230UT, 28 Nov 2004 until 30 Nov 2004)
SOLAR FLARES : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM : Quiet (A<20 and K<4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Nov 2004 10CM FLUX: 110 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 29 Nov 2004 10CM FLUX: 110 / AP: 012
PREDICTIONS FOR 30 Nov 2004 10CM FLUX: 109 / AP: 015

COMMENT: Solar activity was on B-level past UT-day. The three dominant sunspot
groups producing some flaring activity are Catania 77,78 (resp NOAA 0707,0706)
and NOAA 0708. Because their magnetic configuration is stable for the moment, we
do not expect large flares during the next UT day. Geomagnetic activity was
auiet with short active (to minor storm) intervals. Bz is mainly southward now
between 0 and -5 nT, the solar wind speed is currently 400 km/s. We expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions for the next days. The coronal hole in the middle now of
the disk, could become geoeffective from 30/10 onwards.
