I worked the "Please Copy" guy too, it made me smile. Regarding
stations sending my callsign multiple times I really had to decided if
I wanted a serial number repeated as I was likely get the whole long
report string again with the number only once or twice and the number
still may not print 100%. Some stations do not even immediately
respond if you ask for the repeat. I do not put the DE in front of my
callsign when calling someone and I never send their callsign. This
seems to work fine, just like on CW or SSB. I agree with Randy that
RTTY operating is getting better which makes for good rates and lots
of contesting fun.

I want to know why RTTY ops always send my call when they are calling
me. So many times I would hear my call print in the clear and then
there was QRM from other callers when they were sending their call.
I spent the whole weekend just sending DE AK1W AK1W when I called
people. Seemed to work just fine.
Very entertaining RTTY contest this weekend. The quality of RTTY
operating just keeps getting better and better. Activity too!
