Terry,
That's just a bad "rule" in my opinion. What could be the purpose of listing
an invalid entry in the results?
I guess it could be to show whoever got the big award that he really didn't win
except for the fact someone else missed the deadline by at least a minute.
You either submit the log by the deadline or it will be used and listed as a
check log if you choose to submit it late - in my opinion. Wanting to use
these logs to adjudicate the contest does not mean they need to be listed in
the results.
