"Same feelings here Dave,
this "Rover" is done.....not worth the headaches
and whining about rules, for me it was always about trying to give out as
many qso's and grids this meager rover could giveout, not about winning
anything,
the vhf-uhf gear can collect dust now.......
maybe we can have a nice qso on HF or psk sometime :)

You've got to be kidding me. Obviously, you do what you feel is best for you,
but the new roving rules are fantastic! You can either stay in the current
Rover class which is unchanged except you can't contact any single rover more
than 100 times in a contest. You can go with the new Unlimited class if you
want to circle the grids in a convoy or you can go to the new Limited class
where you're limited to a modest, low cost station. I don't see how this is
anything but good. It means you don't have to have your score compared to some
guy with nothing to spend his money on but a multi-thousand dollar rover-mobile.
I think the new roving rules are great. It has me very exicted anyway.
