Of course a vertical/L needs radials, so assume you have the space for those. The more separation the better as the tower will load or severely interact if resonant on 80m. There are means to detune the tower, see W8JI. The big yagi top loading will resonate the tower to much longer than 90ft.

Then conductive guys if not in insulated segments are a concern for other options such an inverted V or delta loop apex up or sloping dipoles oriented to use the tower as a "reflector", all of which avoid radials. For the V or loop best to have at least 5ft separation at the apex and ends pulled further out based on what I have modeled.

i have a rohn 45 up at 90 feet with a force 12 6-el the mag 620. i was
thinking of a 80 meter vertical 60 feet or so in length away from the tower,
a short distance held out there with one of those tower rods. how critical is
the wire distance from the tower ? Do i do a 60 foot +- foot
quarter wave vertical or an inverted el? to be coax fed only.
