Hi Fredd et al,
I used to have the NCC-1 and a few years ago I bought the NCC-2 which is
working vfb for me. It is sturdy and allows me to phase a few different
antennas to get rid of local and even more distant noise.

I've had good results with the NCC-1, essentially the same circuitry with
switching added to make the main antenna one of the inputs. Its performance
is documented here. There's also a tutorial on how phasing units work to
steer an array or to cancel noise.
