On my Omni 6+ there is a wire from a serial port with a little circuit with
2 resistors and 1 small transistor that goes straight to the straight key
jack on the back fo the rig. MRP is one I have used and hamscope is
another. Both downloadable from the web. Get the little keying circuit
from W5NCD's web page It works really well up to at least 25wpm. I have
not tried it any faster than that and I usually dont run faster than 15 wpm.
These days too few can copy 20 and above. I got my extra by copying 20 but
I cant do it any more.
