Try in the upate utility settings / setup to insure it is pointed to the right com port.

I have encountered an interesting problem.  My Orion was communicating
with my logging program before I shut the program down to download the
Firmware update.  When trying to install, the program says it cannot
communicate with the Orion.  Tried a master reset, rebooted the
computer, etc.  The logging program now tells me the port is already in
use.  Still can't install the new update.  Any suggestions?

Well, downloaded from net okay and uploaded to rig okay.
BUT on tuning there is no difference in tuning rate whether use step 1,
10
or 100.  All step as if set at a step rate of 100.  No fine tuning.
Did I miss something?
