Jay,
I looked at the scores and tried to find a category for a plaque, and didn't
get any great ideas. There was a mention in the rules about a plaque for High
Georgia Club, but that did not get subscribed, and I am not sure we would get
any action on it outside SECC or SEDXC, which would be kind of useless.

Here is a thought though...
I have seen some competitions where a prize is given for the 10th place score,
20th, etc, without regard to any other considerations.
It is probably intended to be a reward for participation on the part of those
who may not be able to score really high.
We could award such a prize to log number 25, if that entry did not get a
plaque for another reason, then # 26, would be the next choice.
This would reward "above median" effort, as we usually have more than 50 logs.
There is the obvious element of chance, but that would be part of the fun too.
Call this award the "Lucky Dog", "Good Player", or ???
This would have to be approved by the current sponsor, and comment from the
club would be considered too.

What competition does this??? Fishing Tournaments up North for one. Some have
prizes each 10 entries, like a PU Truck and boat for #100.

Well... FWIW

Joe, KO4RR, generously agreed to sponsor a plaque for DX QRP three years
ago. Here we are three years later and no one has won a single DX QRP
plaque -- and I'm still carrying Joe's $50. Can we please either encourage
a DX station to try QRP in the GQP, or come up with another category for
Joe? Suggestions?

Thanks & 73,

Jay, K4OGG
