Back in 1989, when I put up a tower and got back on the air, I had
numerous RFI complaints, mainly landline telephones, stereo systems,
etc. Only afterwards did it occur to me that I should have put some
antennas in the attic and gotten on the air a lot with the amplifier.
Then when the tower went up, the RFI problems would have been LESS severe!
Fortunately, in recent years, despite my increased activity, I've had
virtually no RFI complaints. Sadly, the RFI is now going in the other
direction.
