Mark,
Karlnet DOES support the Soekris 4511 board. You do have to disable one of
the ethernet ports though, as that build can only support ONE Ethernet and
One Radio interface!

The Soekris is a good choice but Karlnet refuses to support it. I called to
ask them why they are not supporting it and talked with the software
engineer working on the testing and he gave me some lame excuse why they
can't get it released. I started using StarOS on it instead and am having
good results. Also StarOS is a lot cheaper and updated more frequently.

What we need is some type of x86 board that will work w/ PCMCIA and POE to
replace the rg1000
I too have put our main "wisp" on hold for expansion until a decision can be
made about its future based on karlnet.
