Another tetrode option is a pair of 8072's out of discarded Motorola UHF
mobile transmitters. Get the tube, heat transfer block and sockets. Find a
big aluminum heat sink such as from a Moto pair of 8650 base station.
An easy 400-500W on SSB/CW or more with a small fan. Use a couple of anodes
from dead 3-500Z's or similar to up the dissapation a bit more; looks
strange but works.
