Comments:
One of the rare sessions to get a score over 4k points.
Had some good runs on 14 MHz at 3 Qs/minute, but USA
was very weak with only AA3B and WG3J worked upon
insisting calling repeats.
During the session X-ray flux crept from B3 to B5-level,
but 21 MHz was completely flat, with Es missing. Feels
very much like solar minimum, with also a few recent days
showing heavy Aurora (up to K = 6 indices).
Improved my sloper-wire counterpoise a bit in order to
prepare for a return to 3.5 MHz for the Autumn/Winter
season. The band suffers from quite a bit of local
man-made noise, like with most of us in residential
areas. External noise cancelling circuits still missing.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA #1856 CWops
