Carl,

There were many connectors used on RG-17. I use RG-17 for my main feedline with HN connectors. The Amphenol catalog RF-2 is a good source of information. That was published in the 70s.. The first page
has some great info on connectors and cable.
If anyone would like a copy, I will scan it and e-mail it to them...

The LC was the used on RG-17

Well the type connector that i have on a piece of RG-17 is anAmphenol 82-325 which translates to either the HN or C, not sure which. So many connectors, so many names, so little time! The above connector does not fit into an "N"
type as it appears it's one step bigger.

It is definitely NOT a type C. Type C is the same size
as type N but is a bayonet instead of threaded connector
(a maxi BNC, so to speak).

Type C is my absolute favorite coax connector.

It would appear that the connetor on the 82A is one that
would have been used on the old RG-17/U coax.

I don't know the type number, but will try to research it
later today in my old 73 Magazine Coax Handbook.
