Type C is my absolute favorite coax connector.
It would appear that the connetor on the 82A is one that
would have been used on the old RG-17/U coax.
Its not that one either, its coplanar, the center socket is flush with
the outer and the dielectric is flush too. Its not LC. I've adapted LC.
Its a Bird design, I think.
