Google search failed me. But my vintage Amphenol catalog in the file drawer A to B showed on page 25 that 82-325 is an HN connector. It has bigger parts all around and a different interface from N or C to handle high voltage (at high altitude) better. No short air paths from center to shield anywhere in the connector. 73, Jerry, K0CQ On 11/17/2010 10:54 AM, LARRY D GODEK wrote: Well the type connector that i have on a piece of RG-17 is anAmphenol 82-325 which translates to either the HN or C, not sure which. So many connectors, so many names, so little time! The above connector does not fit into an "N" type as it appears it's one step bigger. Larry W0OGH |
