Concerning RF AGC behavior in FSK mode:

I just performed the "battery fail" master reset to insure that I had 
a clean slate and I still see the atypical behavior of the S-meter 
with RF AGC in FSK mode. It's as if the AGC is preset to a "medium" 
or "fast" and none of the setting I enter (including hang time) are 
effective. However, when I am in the menu, the settings do seem to 
have a effect. Once I exit the menu, however, my settings and the 
setting of the AGC are immaterial.
Can anyone else verify this?
