A winkeyer, a MORTTY or an IC7610 using USB CW send, which also works perfectly.

I believe what you describe is exactly what a WinKeyer is suppose to keep
from happening.

I've had an ongoing problem using WriteLog with CW breaking up or having
some delays, speeding up or slowing down, mostly speeding up in the middle
