Hello Chris,

Meteor scatter is great for distances between about 600 miles and 1300 miles as your signal scatters off ionized trails at about the same height as Es clouds, maybe 65 miles above the earth.   Best bet seems to get on the ping jockey meteor scatter website to look for activity.  You need a good SW to west horizon.

Please let me know if you are interested. The Perseids only comes around once a year. Lets take advantage of it.  I can do FSK441 or MSK144. I'll even do SSB for some great fun.

I might be interested in trying.  I've got 100-ish W, a 10 element yagi,
and a truck.

But, I'd need some help figuring out where in southern NH to go as well
as when to be there.  It sounds like I primarily want a view towards the
south?

I guess it would also help knowing if people are coordinating on chat
pages or sending text messages or what.
