It has been confirmed by Mike Sherba VE3DKW that I am accurate on fm
frequencies and pinning his meter at s9+60.
On USB 144.230 my dial I am on 144.200 reading s9+40 at his end.
On USB 144.200 my dial I am on 144.170 reading s9+40 at his end.
My choices are to fix it or compensate by tuning 30 kc higher on my dial for
the frequency needed.Got the manual out now on alignment. Will use as is till
I am secure with realigning as my test equipment is for am radios
including 4 signal generators I now have.
Hmmmmmm........
Thanks to all who offered assistance to verify. Now, to fix or compensate?
btw, Mike and I are 8 miles apart.
