Forget any advice about not running a beverage through the woods.  They work 
fine!  The only reason I can think of to not run it through the woods is 
that tree limbs sometimes fall on it and take it down.  Use some nails and 
those plastic electric fence insulators that are made to go on trees and put 
it up as straight as you can.
