A little off the subject, but I have an extensive earth grounding system 
using neighbours fences, and earth spkes every 20 to 40 ft apart.   This 
extends 1.5 miles to the south and about 1/4 miles west and north.... the 
groiund is 600ft thick chaulk.... I do superbly well with my marconi Tee 
when its been raining, but useless after a week of dry weather!!
