Thanks to all answering me on this topic, got quite a few replies off list! The consensus seems to be that there is no need to worry about static build up when using the analyser on large antennas. Most replies points out that analysers might be useless due to strong BC stations in the vicinity. Luckily that should not be a problem in my case as most broadcasting takes place on 88-108 Mc here.
