One has to be FAST with pencil waiting. Re-Start-up a 2/nd time to finish
that was missed.

simple question
how do you display what firmware a jupiter is running?
I know there is a splash screen at startup, but it?s really fast.
I can?t remember what button to press to display the firmware

Let's see now. It's the 21st century. You all own an iPhone and
an iPad and maybe even a HD movie camera....
How about a snippet of recording using any or all of the above
devices and replay frame by frame?

you?re right!
it is the 21st century.
on shouldn?t have to stand on one?s head to do a simple thing like finding out
what version of firmware is running on a Ten Tec Jupiter.

Hi-
I have my older EAGLE connected to my Toshiba notebook (no serial ports)
with a USB cable and the COM (UART) is at com12. I get pretty good
communication between the computer and the EAGLE, but one problem persists.
The software misses the frequency of the EAGLE by 1.5MHz. Many times I have
set the frequency of the EAGLE to 10MHz and the software to 10MHz, and I have
fine tuned both to get the same pitch on both USB and LSB, I have set A=B to
both VFO?s, I have run the Calibrate routine. It all looks the same on the
software and the EAGLE.
As soon as I try to change the frequency of the software by sliding the
tuner dial the EAGLE jumps frequency by 1.5 MHz to 8.5MHz.
What is up with that? Any ideas?

I will get back home on Feb 22 and I will test it out then to see if I
can reproduce your results. But does this happen if you don't use the
frequency scale slider and instead use the band buttons to change frequency.
