I think you have a typo there. Setting DTR and RTS to "Handshake" is
correct, not CW and PTT. Anyway, radio control, CW and PTT all on the same
com port is not a good idea. Use a separate com or lpt port for cw and ptt.
Better still, get a WinKey by K1EL.

If you choose "Orion" in the Config-Ports menu for the COM port that you are
using, it will show you the suggested settings that will work with the
Orion. The trickiest part is figuring out which COM port your cable is
connected to.
