I had the same problem, only with the Orion I. It was somewhat intermittent,
but once it started happening it quickly turned permanent...was a relay. For
some reason the power out on the meter on the rig showed 100 watts, but nothing
was going out.
I first got it to put out a signal by cycling the "antenna 1, antenna 2"
buttons, but finally had the repair done. Tentec couldn't find a problem until
they turned the rig sideways and noticed the glitch, then found the bad relay.
They DID fix the rig the first time around.

yes, thanks. Keying loops are off and transmitter is ON. I do have the rig
going into TX and showing also 1.0 SWR all the time! Also the pot indicator
shows power but the meter does not and also nothing is going out by external
wattmeter. It shows 1.0 SWR also to empty antenna port. Thus switching from ANT
1 to ANT 2 does not help.
I will try the recommended battery reset and will also check if the PS current
goes up at TX (I am quite sure it does not...).
I wonder how those guys solved it who have had this issue before?

Do you have the keying loops turned off and the Transmitter turned on
in the TX Menu?
