Ten Tec radios have more sensitive receivers! 73, Stuart k5KVH May be more a complex function of how your ground your rig and amplifier, your power supplies distance from the rigs, and the shielding or not of mike preamps as has been stated. Near field of the antenna is tough on a very quiet and sensitive receiver, and even on most high gain and processed audio inputs to transmitters.
