I have the same problem with my OMNI VI+.
Als using a linear. The problem is also when the linear is
in stand by mode. The problem is gone when the linear
is totaly switched off. I using an AMERITRON AL80A.
After several tests I can tell you that I pick up the noise from
the transformer in the linear.
Using the same setup with my TS870 there is no problem.
On my side the hum noise is louder in LSB then in USB.
Any help would also be very nice.
