Best I can detect, a little WD-40 only wastes the money it cost to buy it. At the worst if it leaves a film to gather dust it can compromise the insulation of a switch wafer and introduce abrasive dust to the contact area. One should be careful of carburetor (trichlor) in closed spaces. It can give the user a euphoric high that is very rocky to come off of. Been there. Felt like falling into a limestone quarry just after it had been blasted. 73, Jerry, K0CQ -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/tentecfaq.htm Submissions: tentec@contesting.com Administrative requests: tentec-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-tentec@contesting.com Search: http://www.contesting.com/km9p/search.htm |
