Yes.  There may be those who do it, but I think it is not permitted to
compare logs after the contest before submitting the logs.  I always
give anyone who wants it a copy of my log and have been glad to review
others' logs for obvious errors, but only after the deadline for
submitting logs has passed.

It takes a lot of effort to know when to ask for repeats and to check
your typing to make sure you don't make entry errors, but the time to
get it correct is at the time of the contact.
