OK, I tried that, but despite the fact I had DSL service last summer
from DirecTV, and Earnie had it humming at about 1.2 mil per second, I
now find on checking all services that DSL is not available on my
line.
To state the obvious, my line has been downgraded. BellSouth denies
this, MS says it isn't their fault, but I am not going to stay with
26000 bps connections regardless of thier "support".
Maybe Bill hit it on the head when he said too many subscribers and
too few lines.
