I was only addressing the comment about ‘new Ops being scared away’ by the 
online presence.  Nothing more. Read what I wrote.

I said nothing about us old dudes being threatened.

Personally, at 79, and 63 years at this, I’m on the scoreboard in every contest 
and love it. But that’s just me.

No matter what we elders feel personally, the future of this marvelous 
hobby/service is 100% dependent on getting new people in. The online presence, 
engagement etc is key to that.

Just my opinion of course.

With all due respect, I would respectfully but strongly disagree that this move 
is in “right” direction.   Especially if an operator is or feels that they are 
being pressured into it.
