I do note that the phrase "solicit contacts" is used once in the CQWW rules
and there seems to be synonymous with "call CQ".

Over tens of thousands of words in a dozen emails with me in fall of 2022,
W5OV tried to make that point to me, that "soliciting" means "CQ'ing" and
that self-spotting is not soliciting because it's not CQ'ing. But until I
found the analogy in the CQWW rules I never got his equivalence there.

A huge THANK YOU for removing the word "soliciting" there. It may be
something lawyers use but is not a word in the contester's vocabulary.
