Bob - I wanted to be sure you saw the contest director's answer:

"Single-band entries can make QSOs on other bands.  They must log those
QSOs even though they aren't counted toward the single-band score.  During
any QSO, another band-frequency can be announced or a move request
made.73,Ed W0YK"
