This should NEVER be done. It is unsafe, and violates Electrical Codes
everywhere in North America.

did a comprehensive RFI video on the subject and show how ground loops
can happen and what to do to eliminate them. Quite possibly the #1 cause
of RFI. You can watch the video in the link below.
There is no such thing as a ground loop, and there is no such thing as
"RF ground." I suggest that you delete that video -- based on this post,
you don't know what you're talking about, so you're recommending very
bad practice.
