When you can read the newspaper from the (near white) light being generated
by FOUR 3-500 z's, there is some serious RF horsepower being generated. I
did not own this beast, actually I didn't want to get to close to it.
Recall there was a safety glass window installed so the tubes could be seen,
said window had a non metallic safety screen covering it in case the glass
failed.
Cannot recall who owned this "shack warmer" but it was in Sacramento, CA in
the late `sixties.
`Spose its fair to say that when he called "CQ dx, the world heard him.
