Maybe... if rig reviewers in Rad Com, QST etc.paid more attention to
these sort of design defects, then things would improve. A tall order? -
possibly the magazines would just lose advertisers!
If however, all the major societies i.e RSGB, ARRL, REF et al could get
together and agree a 'standard review', which covered such matters, the
manufacturers would see the error of their ways and give us radios that
did what they should, with no nasty suprises in store.
Just maybe!
