[Xtreme-talk] Sharing Remote Receivers

QRZ QTH's....

If anyone interested in using the category wants to take full
advantage of Remote Receivers, then Remote Receivers must be made
available.   The infant infrastucture available now is not going to
cut it for CQWW!

Who's interested in hosting a Remote Receiver?  There are some issues:

- Hopefully, should not be near a station that will be transmitting in
the contest.
- SDR, of course, is only option, really.
- Multicasting is important so that many users can use at once.
- decent bandwitdth and internet connectivity.

Does everyone imagine having to host their own remote receiver (I hope
not!)  or can this be a world community effort?

Thoughts?
