[Skimmertalk] Two SkimServs problem

I tested further:
- running an HSDR session on the CWSL (using the ExtIO driver) I hear that
the demodulated audio stream is
	- working fine if run alone
	- a bit "chopped" after having started the Skimmer Server
	- much worse if both servers are launched

So the issue is not in the configuration but probably in the bandwidth
available to the IQ streams; the skimmer servers report seeing signals but
they probably can't be decoded because of the bad quality, that's why no
spots are sent.
I'll now work on the USB interfaces to make sure all the needed bandwidth is
there.

Of course any hint/tweak is welcome.

Thanks all for you replies,

telnet is not the issue, both telnet sessions from the Aggregator are up.
I triple checked the configuration files, found a minor glitch but that
didn't fix it; I've now cut the configurations to a minimum to have better
visibility, I provide them below.
Again: both servers work if launched alone, both are starting correctly (no
error), decoders count goes up nicely; but the 2nd launched server does not
send spots.

Skimmer Commands do reach the servers (0=SkimSrv, 8=RttySkimSrv):
0SETT: vlNormal 7000.0-7040.0,14000.0-14070.0
8SETT: vlNormal 7040.0-7060.0,14070.0-14100.0

Are there any parameters to turn on debugging ?

Subject: [Skimmertalk] Two SkimServs problem

Hi,

I'm experimenting running SkimServ and RttySkimSrv concurrently on the same
receiver as described here:
http://www.reversebeacon.net/downloads/aggregator/Running-RTTYSkimServer-and
-CW-SkimServer.pdf

Receiver is an Elad FDM-DUO, so I'm covering 2 Bands at the same time.

Both servers start fine, the amount of decoders looks right on both servers.
The weird thing is:

- If I start SkimSrv first, RttySkimSrv is not sending any Spots

- If I start RttySkimSrv first, SkimSrv is not sending any Spots

As I tested initially, everything was working fine (spots from both), so the
problem must be related to the configuration files.

Did anyone experience this ?
