Hi Marco,

try the following:

> start first only Skimserv
>select in the receiver dropdown list of Skimserv: 01 CWSL_Tee on
><your SDR>
> press apply

now start RTTYSkimserv

you must have the same settings in the .ini file of both Skimserv and
RTTYSkimserv

for:

> FreqCalibration
> CenterFreqs
> SegmentSel

and (!) in the RTTYSkimserv.ini:

    DeviceName=01 CWSL_Tee on <your SDR>

(After changing the .ini, I have to close and restart RTTYSkimserv,
otherwise there are no signals and no decoders shown on the GUI of
RTTYSkimserv.
This behaviuor is new, some month ago I could change the .ini on the fly)

If it is still not working, connect RTTYSkimserv with a telnet client and
check the device name RTTYSkimserv is seeing with the command:

> SKIMMER/SDR

The answer you get from RTTYSkimserv is the device name you have to insert
in the RTTYSkimserv.ini.

This works fine for my QS1R, I think it should also work for your Elad SDR.

Hi,

I'm experimenting running SkimServ and RttySkimSrv concurrently on the same
receiver as described here:
http://www.reversebeacon.net/downloads/aggregator/Running-RTTYSkimServer-and
-CW-SkimServer.pdf

Receiver is an Elad FDM-DUO, so I'm covering 2 Bands at the same time.

Both servers start fine, the amount of decoders looks right on both servers.
The weird thing is:

- If I start SkimSrv first, RttySkimSrv is not sending any Spots

- If I start RttySkimSrv first, SkimSrv is not sending any Spots

As I tested initially, everything was working fine (spots from both), so the
problem must be related to the configuration files.

Did anyone experience this ?

Marco HB9CAT
