Hi Larry,

I use the QS1R and the Clifton Labs active antenna which is about 200 
feet from my house. I also have a common mode choke in the coax about 20 
feet from the base of the antenna.  Think I will try moving it to a 
field out back of the house which will be about 300 feet from the house 
and farther away from the power lines in front of the house.
