[Skimmertalk] 2-way communication between logging programs and Skimmer waterfall

This is from the Help file of Skimmer:

"If WriteLog is used as a logger, RigSync can also populate the logger
band map with the callsigns from the Skimmer *and highlight the calls in
the Skimmer according to their status in WriteLog.* Currently there is
no documentation for RigSync, but this posting
<http://dayton.contesting.com/pipermail/skimmertalk/2008-December/000298.html>
by Pete N4ZR at the SkimmerTalk forum is a good introduction to the
subject."

Check the Skimmer/Status command in the Skimmer Telnet Server Help for
how you can color-code stations in the Skimmer callsign list from
Writelog. I don't know how hard it would be to get N1MM Logger or
Win-Test to do the same, but since it involves sending a message to the
Telnet server from the logging software's Telnet client, it shouldn't be
too difficult.
